THE GOPPLE
A woman came to my door. A decent-seeming official from the socalled child services who strolled around my house, talking about my child and adding, over and over, that she had not really meant to show up, because meeting me would make it more difficult.
Make WHAT more difficult? It dawned on me that she, personally and arbitrarily, meant to take my place as my child's mother.
I put it to her and asked: Did anyone give you the impression that my child could be yours?
She refrained from answering. I asked again and gave her time, but she did not deny it.
So I killed her.
I stapled her to death and cut her to pieces with a pair of scissors, for by now she had turned into a many-coloured, glittery and slimey gopple that did indeed wiggle and writhe, but took the form of a starfish and was perfectly possible to take on, if only one decided to do so.
Shiv helped me: Shiv the resourceful convict whose child is taken from her by a decent-seeming prison doctoress that transforms into a selfish monster in the Polish series Skazana.
